  • How do I prepare for the initial interview?

    It is a good idea to examine the course of your symptoms before the initial consultation. When you confirmed your appointment, you received a link to download a medical history form. Print it out, fill it out at home and bring it with you to the practice for the initial consultation. You are also welcome to bring any existing medical findings with you.

  • Which costs does the health insurance company cover?

    This is a private practice, which means that billing is done according to GOÄ (fee schedule for doctors). If you have private health insurance, the costs for the initial consultation are usually covered by the private insurance company, depending on your individual contract.

  • Which payment methods do you accept?

    You will receive an invoice which you can pay in cash or by bank transfer.

  • Do you also offer video consultations?

    Yes, of course. Please see further down this page for more information.

  • How long does a treatment take?

    50 minutes are reserved for the initial consultation. The same applies for the consultation and follow-up treatment appointments.

  • I have a long journey. Are there other scheduling options?

In addition to my face-to-face practice appointments, I offer video consultations.


If you need a doctor's appointment but do not want or cannot leave the house, you have the option of making an appointment via video.


I use the platform ClickDoc, which is designed as a video consultation for doctors with the corresponding regulations to be observed.

Important information about the video consultation procedure in my practice:

  • We will arrange an appointment in the usual way
    (Phone: 0228/390 4397 or email:    info@praxis-boerger.de or use the contact button). In this case, please do not book the initial consultation via doctolib.
  • You will then receive Information material for the Process of the video consultation sent by email.
  • Before the appointment you will receive a
  • “Invitation” to this appointment with a code
  • sent by email or SMS. You enter your name and the code, accept the clickable
  • Terms of Use
  • and go directly to the
  • virtual waiting room.
  • At the agreed time, I will call you into the consultation. It is possible to speak, write (chat function) and send files back and forth if necessary.
